Needless to say that Rolex has been the master of watch market since ever. Whether they are new or old, Rolex watches always have a unique beauty and value just like gold which is bought for its beauty and its financial value. But to many people, Rolex is definitely not the choice. Not many people can afford such a high price for a daily-use watch that's liable to get smashed any time! Well, maybe that's why they usually release 'limited editions', it's for the limitation of customers I believe! Whether you are a Rolexian or not, it's nice to know a bit about one of Rolex masterpieces; the Submariner. Here are the most significant new/enhanced features of it: - The looks: somehow it has a retro look. - The case: squared, or even more angular, and finely polished. - The bezel: ceramic, thus shiny and resists scratching (unlike the former aluminum one used in GMT Master and Deep-Sea Sea-Dweller) . - The movement: high-accuracy original Rolex in-house movement. - The dial: shows a new feature called "maxi dial" for a better reading. - Hands, markers and indicators: are luminous blue (not green strangely) to help you find the time in the darkness, and even under the sea! There are gold rims on both the hands and the indicators which match perfectly with the gold color of the bezel and dial. I'm glad to say that the glide-lock deployments of the DeepSea Sea-Dweller version are also present in the Rolex Submariner. To those who don't know what that is, let me tell you that the glide-lock deployment is simply an important improvement to bracelet so it can withdraw more wear-and-tare and fit more sizes. To sum it up: the Submariner is an eye-catcher and a fan magnet! |
